Welcome to the Community Medicare Africa (CMA) - Child Mentorship Program

The CMA medical students and doctors who volunteer to treat the Adopt-a-Child children and their families who cannot afford medical care also take a vested interest in the lives of these children through one-on-one mentoring. This involves going to the child’s home to asses the environment in which the child is living in and visiting the child’s school to get information from their teachers as to their progress. This will greatly enable them to understand how they can best help the child with health and life decisions.
